I'm going to be adding recollections of my Dad as I think of them.
My Dad was a very hard working man who liked to take care of his family. My dad only missed 4 days of work during his 27 years at the Standard Forging plant, 2 of those days were when my grandfather died.
One spring day, the whole family was cleaning house while listening to music of course. My Mom and Dad decided it wouldn't hurt to stop work and do a little tango. While they were dancing and showing off, they forgot the window was open. My Dad almost dipped my Mom out the window! We kids, Mom and Dad couldn't stop laughing at the sight they presented!
My Mom died in 1968; my Dad died in 1985. People often asked my Dad why he never remarried. I love my Dad's answer, "I was married to a Queen, why would I want anyone else?"
MY DEAR DAD
THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR FLOWERS AND SENTIMENTS.
THEY ARE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.
