Mrs. Betty Jayne Holley, 81, of Wanatah, died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso.
She was born Aug. 30, 1922, in Valparaiso, and lived in the Wanatah area all her life. She was currently living at Life Care Center.
She married Floyd Holley, who preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death was one son, Jack S. Hyatte.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy Lee Gunter; one stepdaughter, Linda Mills; one stepson, Paul; one grandson, Michael Gunter; five great-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter; and one brother, Paul Winslow.
Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 900W CR-1550S, Wanatah, with Rev. Joel Zipay officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service. Burial of ashes will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Valparaiso. Wanatah Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
