Mark Travis Denniston, age 48, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at his home. A son of the late Joe Tom Denniston, he was born November 24, 1954, in Russellville. He was an attorney practicing law in Fayetteville for nine years, was the Washington County Prosecutor, former prosecuting attorney for West Fork, Farmington and Prairie Grove, was a member of the Fayetteville Humane Society, the Arkansas Bar Association and First Christian Church of Russellville. Survivors include his life partner, Marsha Seidenschwarz; his mother, Gireta Smith Denniston of Russellville; a brother, Tom Denniston of Sherwood; two sisters: Helen M. Denniston and Janet Denniston, both of North Little Rock; and an uncle, Willie T. Smith Jr., of Little Rock.
Funeral will be 10 A.M., Saturday, June 28, 2003, at the Shinn Chapel with Rev. Tim Veazey officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Russellville, by Shinn Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers will be Mark Hlass, Jeff Watson, Billy Mullens, Zed Johnson, John May, Lou Stenken, Casey Jones, Jim Gaston, Don Brown and Gary Cochran. Honorary pallbearers will be Graham Coveney, Jerry Paddock, Bob Mores, Bill Murphy, Ron Ronspiez, Stuart Finley, Veon Greenwood, Philip Finley, the Fayetteville Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association and the Dickson Street Bar Association.
