I was a Childhood Friend: I went to school in Fallston, N.C. with Larry and his older brothers Gene and Wayne. I have some good school memories of the Dellinger brothers. They came from a good family and had a good upbringing with good parents. I served in Vietnam 66-67 and was fortunate to come home alive. Larry gave his life in that far away land and his death and life is remembered by many. May he always be remembered for his sacrifice to this great nation on a battlefield in Vietnam. Marvin Dennis McCurry.
We were Classmates: Thinking of My Lost Friend. Larry I was just thinking of you today as I went through the lost soldiers in my hometown. I knew your sister and Paul Scism the guy she married. I was friends with them also. I was in Vietnam 67/68. The time gone seems to catch up with me as I teach the war to my eight graders at Granite Falls. You are not forgotten and I miss you. He was the husband of Mrs Donna K Dellinger, 303 East Parker Street, Kings Mountain, NC.
