On Aug. 4, 1864, he married Mary McNeil Morris in Leon Co., Florida. Between 1870 and 1872, they moved west and settled in Grimes County, Texas.

Father of James H. "Jimmy" Page, Mary Alice Mamie Page, Willie Augusta (Page) Pate, Wilpian Page, Estelle Page, Rebecca Angelina "Lena" (Page) McPherson, John William Page Jr., and Fannie Pauline (Page) McPherson.
