Son of John and Annie Christie (both deceased); born October, 1892, Chenoa, Ill. Moved to Kokomo, Ind. in March, 1917, where he entered service March 29, 1918. Sent to Camp Taylor, Ky.; assigned to 11th Company, 3rd Battalion, 159th Depot Brigade. Transferred to Ft. Leavenworth, Kans.; then to Camp Upton, N. Y. Overseas in July, 1918; assigned to 37th Service Company, Signal Corps. Died of pneumonia May 9, 1919, Bordeaux, France. Body returned to U.S., and interred in Pike Cemetery, Livingston County, Ill.
