Rockabilly singer and songwriter. A native of Springfield, Missouri, Ronnie began writing songs at an early age. By 18 he was touring America with the Philip Morris Country Music Show along with other country music stars. He's best known for his songs "Bop-A-Lena", "Big Town", "Moon Burn", "Ain't I'm a Dog", "Pretty Bad Blues", "Big Fool", Boppin' the Blues", "Petrified" and many others. He wrote Brenda Lee's huge hit "I'm Sorry and "Sweet Nothin's". Ronnie has written over 400 songs during his career and appeared on American Bandstand and the Grand Ole Opry. He recorded for Columbia, Decca and AMY record labels. (bio: J. D. McConnell)
