Ida Phillips was the daughter of WH and Margery Phillips. She was married to George Alcorn on 7 Sept 1899. After his death in 1907, Ida remarried to Admiral Stewart on 2 June 1909. Ida was laid to rest beside her first husband at the time of her death.

Mrs. A.C. Stewart
The death of Mrs. Ida Alcorn Stewart, beloved wife of A.C. Stewart, occurred Tuesday afternoon at 4 o’clock at her home, 1202 south Gibson street, after a few days of illness with acute intestinal obstruction. Her death comes as a sad blow to family and friends.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the residence, conducted by Rev. A.F. Hogan of the Gibson Street M. E. church, and the interment will be in Walnut Hill cemetery, near Fort Branch.
Mrs. Stewart was aged 35 years and six months. She is survived by the husband, one son, Carter Alcorn and two little daughters; also by her mother, Mrs. Margery Phillips, two brothers and two sisters, Sam Phillips, of Terre Haute; Henry, Miss Lillie, and Mrs. L. M. Stewart, of this city and vicinty.
Mrs. Stewart was an excellent Christian woman, and to the grief-stricken family the sympathy of all is extended.
