Paul B. Ashcraft, 71, of Lexington, formerly of Carrollton, died Monday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Lexington.
He was a retired plumber, a member of Carrollton United Pentecostal Church, and a veteran of both the Air Force and Army.
Survivors include his wife, Julia Ellen May Ashcraft; daughters, Tennie Ashcraft and Pam Mosher, both of Lexington, Sheila Stanhope of Sadieville and Julena Herrow of Sylvester, Ga.; sons, James Richard Ashcraft and Paul B. Ashcraft Jr., both of Lexington; sisters, Thelma Readnour of Covington, Norma Reed of Hodgensville, Maureen Duncan of Carrollton, Joyce Jones of Turners Station and Barbara Brassfield of Chicago; a brother, Charles Ashcraft of LaGrande, Ore.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at United Pentecostal Church, Carrollton. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, Carrollton, and from noon Thursday until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in English Cemetery.
