MSgt James (Jim) Michael Allen, US Air Force (Retired) lost his six month battle with cancer and passed away on Thursday morning, November 12, 1987 at his home in Aurora, Colorado with his wife Becky at his side.
Jim was born on September 28, 1949 in Redfield, South Dakota to Alva Ora (Jack) and Bertha Lucille (Wilbur) Allen.
Jim is survived by his wife Becky, his six year old daughter Nancy, his mother, Bertha Allen, brothers Dennis, Richard, Robert and Ronald Allen, sister Carolyn McBride and numerous other loving family members.
Jim was preceeded in death by his father Alva Ora (Jack) Allen who passed away in 1974.
Services were held at 11:00am at the First Assembly of God Church in Aurora, Colorado on Monday, November 16, 1987.
Following the church services, burial, with full military honors, was conducted at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
Honorary pallbearers were Jim's brothers, Dennis, Richard, Robert and Ronald Allen and brothers-in-law, Buddy Wilson and Tommy Stanfill.
