Ivan served as a Staff Sergeant & Asst. Engineer on B-24D #42-40886, 64th Bomber Squadron, 43rd Bomber Group, Heavy, U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II.
He resided in Los Angeles County, California prior to the war.
He enlisted in the Army on April 3, 1942 in Los Angeles, California. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in metal working and also as Divorced, without dependents.
Ivan was declared "Missing In Action" when his B-24 crashed near Mount Eiyawaiy and Engati in Morobe Province during the war. He was awarded the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.

Ivan's remains were recovered and identified in 2009. He is now interred in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia. " Click Here " for that record!
