Ryan Katcher has been missing along with his Ford F150 pickup truck since november 5, 2000. On July 25, 2006, his truck was discovered in the bottom of a pond at Kickapoo State Park in Danville, IL.
Later they finally disclosed that he was with his truck. On July 25, 2006 his family and friends can finally have a knowledge of where Ryan has been for the almost 6 years he has been missing and put him to rest.

Ryan Allen Katcher of Oakwood went to be with the Lord at age 19.
He was born Feb. 4, 1981, in Danville, the son of Robert and Linda Youhas Katcher.
Surviving are his mother and step-father, Linda and Bruce Griffith of Oakwood; one sister, Stephanie and Michael Mai of San Jose, Calif; his grandmother, Janice Youhas of Oakwood; one step-brother, Robert Griffith of Danville; two step-sisters: Cheri and Ben Makemson of Georgetown and Megan Griffith of Tampa, Fla.
Ryan was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, George and Audria Katcher; and his maternal grandfather, Andrew Youhas.
Ryan was a 1999 graduate of Oakwood High School and was a marketing major in the College of Business at the University of Illinois. Ryan was on the Dean's list.
His hobbies were working on computers, surfing the Internet and carpentry.
Ryan enjoyed our simple life, his family, his friends, his dog and hunting and fishing.
He was close to his sister, Steph, and they both held the nickname "Katch" or "Katcher."
We will be together someday, and until then you are always in our hearts, consider yourself hugged.
