ADAMS -- Richard William Hueman, age 62, of Adams, Minn., died Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Austin Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 22, 1944 in Austin, Minn. to William and Ruby (Anderson) Hueman.
Richard attended Sacred Heart School until the eighth grade and graduated from Adams High School. On Dec. 12, 1968 he married Linda Peterson at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams. Richards had just retired from Hoover Elementary in Rochester, Minn., where he had worked in maintenance.
Richard enjoyed old time music, dancing and spending time in the outdoors. He also had a passion for classic cars and trucks. He especially enjoyed spending his free time with his family and his two granddaughters.
Richard is survived by his wife, Linda Hueman, of Adams; son, James Hueman, of Austin; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Jeff Arndt, of Austin; granddaughters, Taylor and Abigail Arndt, of Austin; sisters and brothers-in-law: Clarice King, of Rochester; Louise and Loren Monson, of LeRoy, Minn.; Lavonne and Jerome Landherr, of Adams; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Hueman, of Blooming Prairie, Minn.; mother-in-law, Lois Peterson, of Albert Lea, Minn.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim and Arlene Jensen, of Albert Lea, and Ted and Brenda Peterson, of Lake Panasoffkee, Fla.; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruby Hueman; sister, LaDonna Hueman; and brother, Raymond Hueman.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fathers James Seitz and Randy Kasel officiating. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Adams. Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. with a 4:30 p.m. Rosary and a 7 p.m. Prayer Service; and on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m., also at Adams Funeral Home.
