Killed in a accident on I-65 by a tractor trailer traveling south on I-65 that crossed over the median and hit the family van head on in the north bound lane.
Obituary: Anna Lynn Esh, 33, of the Marrowbone community in Cumberland Co., KY.,passed away on Friday, March 26, 2010 in Hart Co., KY. as the result of an automobile accident. She was born on Friday, April 2, 1976 in Lancaster Co., PA., the daughter of John Smucker and Sadie Stoltzfus Esh. She was a member of the Marrowbone Christian Brotherhood Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, John S. "Johnny" Esh, Jr. She died in the accident with her parents, John S. Esh, Sr and Sadie Stoltzfus Esh, her sisters Rose and Rachel Esh, her brother, sister-in-law and nephew, Leroy Esh, Naomi Peight Esh, Jaden Bradley Esh, and her sister's fiance, Joel Mark Gingerich.
Survivors include her siblings, Betty Esh of Marrowbone, Elmer (and Roseanna) Esh of Marrowbone, Benuel (and Eva) Esh of South Dakota, Alvin (and Ann Marie) Esh of South Dakota, Abner Esh of Brazil, Verna (and Emanuel) Kreider of Grandview, TX., Amos (and Mary) Esh of Marrowbone.
Joint funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Carhartt Building in Marrowbone with Bro. Leroy Kauffman and Bro. Urie Kanagy officiating. Obituaries read by Melvin Kauffman and Ervin Kauffman. Burial was in the Christian Brotherhood CHurch Cemetery beside the church. Pallbearers were Nathaniel Yoder, David Kauffman, Jesse Troyer, Lamar Garber, Kai Steinman and Elias Mast.
