GUY L. LEPLEY, 84, died Monday at Parkview Memorial Hospital. Born in Whitley County, he lived in Fort Wayne 60 years. He retired in 1991 after 40 years at Perfection Bakery and was a self-employed commercial artist/sign painter. He painted the original Miss Sunbeam sign on top of Perfection Bakery.
Surviving are his wife, Savannah; a son, Joseph of Columbia City; a daughter, Beverly Ann Henley of Columbia City; two brothers, Richard of Lima, Ohio, and Larry of Tri Lakes, Columbia City; a sister, Wanda Deininger of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services at 10 a.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave. Calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
