Debra Kay Smith Moseley, 36, Strafford, Missouri passed away on Monday, March 7, 2005, as a result of an automobile accident.
Debra was born to Ernest R. and Kay Illene (Johnson) Smith in Denver, Colorado. She moved with her family to the Southwest Missouri area in 1976 where she made her home.
Debra married Curt Moseley on March 13, 2004, in Fair Grove. She was employed at Redneck Trailors of Springfield in the Credit Department. Debra was a member of James River Assembly of God. All who knew Debra were well aware of her love for her husband and children. She was always a people helper and so unselfish with everyone. Nothing thrilled her more than to sit with family and watch a movie and laugh together. When not busy with family, she busied herself with cross stitch, gardening, and working in the yard.
She loved animals and had a special place in her heart for her three dogs and three cats. Debra was preceded in death by her mother, Kay Illene Smith, maternal grandparents, and her paternal grandfather.
Survivors include her loving husband, Curt, Strafford; her three children, Amber, Kimmie, and Ryley, of the home; her father, Ernie Smith and wife, Judy, Springfield; paternal grandmother, Lela Smith, Windsor, Colorado; brother, Ernest R. Smith, Jr., Denver, Colorado; sisters, Sherrie Mason and husband, Bob, Springfield, Kathie Overcash, Springfield, and Johnna McKinnis and husband, Mark, Fair Grove; 12 nieces and nephews; in-laws, Jim and Joan Moseley, Springfield; brother-in-law, Jeff Moseley and fiance Karan, Springfield; sister-in-law, Jennifer Moseley, Kansas City, Missouri; and a host of aunts, uncles, and many friends who will also miss her beautiful smile.
Services were held on Friday, March 11, 2005, in the Thieme-ShadelHicks Funeral Service Rivermonte Chapel.
