Clara Margaret Reynolds, 69, of Marshall, died Sunday, July 12, 2009, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Slater City Cemetery in Slater. Memorials may be made to family choice. Born May 30, 1940, in Hallsville, she was the daughter of the late Vernon L. Reynolds and Mildred Lucille Yates Reynolds Scarborough. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and had worked for several years at Sheltered Workshop. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Marshall.
Survivors include one daughter, Martha S. Vogl and her husband, Lee, of rural Marshall; two grandsons, Evan and Justin Vogl; four sisters, Gladys Jordan of Gilliam, Pat Wilckens, Nancy VanBuskirk and Judy Frakes, all of Marshall; six brothers, Vernon Junior Reynolds of Green Ridge, Raymond "Tom" Scarborough, George "Rusty" Scarborough and Daniel Scarborough, all of Marshall, Tim Scarborough of Springfield and Jim Scarborough of Marshall; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Everette Burns Scarborough Sr.; three brothers, Charles Reynolds, Joe Scarborough and John W. Scarborough; and two sisters, Mildred Imogene Gordon and Sarah Ann Scarborough.
