Funeral services were held Saturday, June 2, 2007, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Otterville, with Rev. Ron Marsh officiating. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville. Pallbearers were Curtis Grossman, Jeff Zumsteg, Paul Zumsteg, Joseph Barnes, Tony Fischer and Virgil Meyer. Memorials are suggested to Special Olympics or First Baptist Church in Otterville. Arrangements were under the direction of Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Otterville.
She was born June 2, 1933, near Otterville, the daughter of Lewis and Ruth May Gorman Zumsteg. She lived in Otterville most of her life before moving to Marshall 20 years ago. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Marshall. She had worked as an assembly worker at the Sheltered Workshop in Marshall. She was good at remembering dates and birthdays, enjoyed Special Olympics and loved country music.
She is survived by two brothers, Don Zumsteg of Louisville, Colo., and Jim Zumsteg of Otterville; one sister, Christine Grossman of Bogard; eight nephews and nieces; and 17 great-nephews and nieces.
