David L. Hamilton of Boxborough, an English teacher at Needham High School for 31 years, died Sunday in his home. He was 64.
Life:
Mr. Hamilton was born in Barre.
He graduated from Union College in Barbourville. Ky., and earned a master's degree in American literature at Boston University.
After serving in the Army, he taught at Needham High until his retirement in 1990.
He enjoyed golf and deep sea fishing.
Family:
He leaves his wife, Ruth (Wynne);
two sons, Jason W. and Joshua L., both of Boxborough;
a brother, Thomas of Hudson, N.H.; and two sisters, Carol Ullman of Euclid, Ohio, and June Jung of Walton, Fla.
