Vic Shannon Thibodaux, two month old son of of John Reaper and Josa Lewis Thibodaux, died at Lawrence County General Hospital. He had been a patient there for a short few days.
In addition to his parents, survivors include; Maternal grandparents, Joseph and Alma Lewis of Ironton; two brothers Tony and Eddie, and one sister, Paula, all at home. Graveside services were at Woodland Cemetery, Rev. James officiating.
When my brother was born he had a birth defect, he only had one arm. I remember my mother saying when they took his photo at the hospital, they covered him up and only showed his good arm. She told them he will have to live with this, so shall the world, so they uncovered him and took another photo. He was a beautiful little baby, so friendly, and always smiled, he woke up smiling. I would always give him a kiss before I went to school and tell him I would see him when I got home from school. He was a great little brother, his lungs were not developed all the way. He was almost three months old when he died. My nephew Shannon was named after his uncle Vic.
Thank you Colette for sponsoring Vic's Memorial. You are an Angel.
