Albert Thrun, well known Pingree Grove farmer, died at his home near that village yesterday following a short illness.
Albert Thrun was born in Pommern, Germany, January 31, 1858. He came to this country in 1881 and had resided on a farm near Pingree Grove since then.
Besides his widow he is survived by four sons, Herman and Gustave of Dundee, John and Will of Pingree Grove and two daughters, Mrs. (Auguste)Herman Raddle (s/b Radde) of Hanover and Mrs. (Martha)Otto Watterman (s/b Vettermann) of Pingree. A brother and sister also survive him.
The funeral will be held from the late residence Sunday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock and from the Pingree Grove church at 1 o'clock. Burial will be at McQueen.

Albert is the brother of Herman Henry Thrun and Hanna (Thrun) Braun. This would make his parents John Thrun and Stena Poguss/Raguss.
