Former Scottsbluff resident, Frank T. Slemmons Jr., 58 of San Francisco, Calif., died Monday, November 30, 1981 in his home. A funeral was held Friday, December 4, in the Jolliffe Funeral Home at Scottsbluff with the Rev. Edward J. Hoag officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery at Scottsbluff.
He was born Sept. 13, 1923, at Mitchell, Nebr., and moved with his family to Scottsbluff in 1930 where he grew up. He served in the Army Air Corps in the South Pacific during World War II. He returned and enrolled in Denver University, graduating in 1950. Shortly after graduation he moved to San Francisco.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Anna Slemmons of Ainsworth, Neb.; brother Matthew G. of Cheyenne; sister Mrs. Mary S. Rose of Ainsworth; and uncle Garvin Slemmons of Mitchell. The Index December 10, 1981
