Eliza was my Great-Grandmother.
She was the seventh of ten children born to James Sidney Lynch and Arie Crews Quinn Lynch.
She was married to Marion D. Miler on February 21st, 1882, in Maysville, Dekalb Co., MO.
Together they had nine children.
Eliza's family moved from Kentucky to DeKalb Co., Missouri, in 1859 in a big wagon train. Her father served in the 8th Kentucky Infantry, Company C, during the Civil War.
She and her husband moved from Maysville, Missouri to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1909. They purchased a farm in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma (later known as the Scott Ferris farm). It was a big house on a hill with 15 foot high ceilings on the first floor. In 1924 they moved back to Missouri and Eliza died there. After her death her husband returned to Pauls Valley and divided his time between his son Roy's home and his daughter Rosa Pearl's home.
