Discrepancy on Death Date: Tombstone says he died 14 March 1888. His funeral card in possession of one of his great granddaughters says he died 12 March 1888. Court papers filed on his will were filed on 15 March 1888 which would have been the day of his funeral if he had died on the 14th. The funeral card would have been printed the day he died so that is the date that will be used.

Gravesite Details
Gravesite is now in good condition. In this photo a tree was endangering the tombstone so relatives approached the city and they took out the tree and the tombstone was re-set.
