Kenneth Adair Hanley, 80, died Thursday, July 26, 2007, at his residence. Services will be Saturday, July 28, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., at Elm Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Ernie McClain officiating. Burial will be in Buffalo Gap Cemetery, directed by Fry-Bartlett Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born December 6, 1926 in Winters to Clinton Adair Hanley and Mary Minerva Walden Hanley. He married Wanda Hicks March 1, 1958, in Abilene. An electrician, he worked for several electrical contractors in Abilene including Royal Electric and Long Electric. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for almost 50 years and retired in 1989. He lived in Potosi a number of years, before moving to Tuscola in 2002. He was a member of Elm Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild, and three great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Wanda of Tuscola; two sons, Kerry Hanley and wife Beth of Abilene and Darrell Hanley and wife Martha of Lawn; one daughter, Debra Carter of Buffalo Gap; one sister, Myrna Pruitt of Abilene; an uncle, Othel Walden of Beaumont; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
