| Birth: | Aug. 5, 1910 | | Death: | May 31, 2010 Garner Wake County North Carolina, USA |  Bettie Robinson Haywood, who was a twin and the last of ten daughters and one son was born to Charlie and Samantha Robinson, departed this life, May 31, 2010 at The Laurels of Forest Glen Rest Home in Garner, NC.
Bettie was born August 5, 1910 and was reared in Wake County, where she received her education. Bettie professed her faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and became a life long member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Raleigh, North Carolina. She was a very faithful member, and attended Church until her health started to decline.
Bettie was joined in marriage to Australia Austin Haywood and from this union one son, Charles Austin Haywood was born.
Bettie enjoyed cooking and various crafts. Talking on the phone kept her in touch with the family. She enjoyed being a wife, mother, homemaker and especially a grandmother and great grandmother.
Bettie was preceded in death by her husband Australia and nine sisters and one brother.
Bettie Robinson Haywood leaves to cherish precious memories of her life; a son, Charles Austin Haywood Sr., (Frances) of Raleigh, North Carolina; a grandson, Charles Austin Haywood Jr. (Nikki); two great grandsons, Charles Austin Haywood III and Nicholas Maurice Haywood all of Raleigh, North Carolina and a host of other loving neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
Bettie leaves behind warm memories filled with kindness for all who knew her. She was a generous person and always enjoyed sharing with others. Bettie has completed her earthly task and gone to her eternal rest.
Funeral, Friday, June 4, 2010, Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 10720 Falls of the Neuse Road.
Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens.
