Reuben's Obituary found in The Lancaster Daily Intelligencer dated Thursday, January 11, 1912
"Reuben Beck, Lititz, Jan. 11 - Reuben Beck, son of Israel and Anna Beck, residing near Kissel Hill, died on Tuesday afternoon about 1 o'clock after three days' illness, of pneumonia, at the home of Levi Garman, tenant farmer on the farm of Mrs. Thaddeus Brubaker, near Landis Valley, where he was employed, aged 29 years. He was unmarried. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church of Lititz.
The funeral will be held on Friday, with services at the Parents' home, near Kissel Hill, at 12:30 o'clock and at 1 o'clock in the Kissel Hill church, near which interment will be made. Rev. Geo. D Clarke will officiate."
