Holly Holder of Columbine Valley died June 9, 2002.
She was 50.
She was born on May 16, 1952 in Albuquerque, NM, the daughter of Dorothy and Howard Holzum.
On June 4, 1974 she married William B Holder Jr, who preceded her in death in 2001.
Hoder was the first woman Evans/Eisenhower Scholar at Colorado University where she received her bachelor of arts degree in 1974. She received her Juris Doctorate with honors in 1980 and after working at seveal Denver law firms, she founded Holly I. Holder P.C., practicing environmental law.
She won numerous golf events including a Colorado State Women's Championship and was later inducted into the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame.
In addition to her husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by her parents and one son Jake Howard Holder.
