Debra Dawn Brimhall Butler passed away peacefully on February 15, 2006 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah. Debbie's courage and bravery in fighting a lengthy and complicated illness was an inspiration and example to all who know her. Debbie was born September 3, 1971 in Provo, Utah, to Willis Hone Brimhall & Lynette McRae Brimhall. She married Ben Alan Butler on December 18, 1992 in the Salt Lake Temple. Her childhood home was in Orem, Utah, where she attended elementary school. She moved to Covered Bridge Canyon, Utah with her parents in 1982, and graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1990. Debbie attended BYU Idaho for one year, and UVSC where she earned an Associate Degree, Paralegal. Debbie, the last of nine children, was blessed to live in a warm and loving family. She had a happy childhood and her marriage to Ben and the two children she bore gave her the best that life has to offer. Debbie was a faithful Latter-day Saint. She served in a number of callings in the LDS Church and particularly loved working with the Young Women. She is a beautiful woman, and is an inspiration and light to her family and everyone she knew. Her beautiful smile could melt your heart. Debbie loved life and had a never-quit attitude. She worried so much about the needs of others at all times and would do anything for her family and friends. She loved her nieces and nephews and was a little Mom from her earliest years. Debbie loved travel, reading, scrapbooking, her roses, her 3 Pomeranian puppies, but most of all enjoyed time with her family. Debbie is survived by her devoted husband, Ben, the love of her life, and their two beloved precious children, Zachary 10, and Alexis 7, her parents, her brothers, Gregory (Jacqueline) Brimhall, Jeffrey (Cydne) Brimhall, W. Mark (Debra) Brimhall, Scott (Rebecca) Brimhall, her sisters, Michelle (LaVor) Haynie, Susan Kay (Brian) Trapnell and Jennifer Dastrup. Debbie was proceeded in death by her sister Denise.
