Much of this information comes from Nellie, Julia, & Grover Bottoms, his children. Places of residence were Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
Thomas's death date comes from his death certificate. His place of burial, Bilby Cemetery, is also known as "Old Glory" and is located South of Holdenville in Hughes County, OK.

1902 or 1903 -- MS, Move to Carriere Co, MS, for a year while his son Frank worked for the railroad building the RR Bridge across Lake Pontchartrain in LA. Son Grover Bottoms remembered going to Slidell, LA for their major shopping trips. They rented box cars to move, taking their household furniture, animals, etc.

Occupations: Farmer, Photographer, Doctor, Justice of Peace.

Thomas' daughter Nellie shared her memory of a dream her father had. In his dream he had died and angels were taking him to heaven. When he was high above the tree tops they turned him loose and he fell to earth and landed on a sea of white hats that the Quaker women wore, which saved him from being hurt.
