Andrew J. Folk served through the war of the Rebellion, and accompanied Sherman's army in it's march to the sea.

Mr. Andrew J. Folk was born near Findlay, Hancock Co., Ohio, July 3, 1839, and died Feb. 23, 1925, aged 85 yrs 8 months and 20 days. He was united in marriage to Caroline Twining, Sept. 13, 1860. To this union were born 8 children. Mother and 5 children preceded him.
He leaves to mourn their loss, 3 children. Mrs. Emma Pacey near Leipsic, Mr. Charley Folk of Leipsic and Mr. Harry Folk of RoseBurg, Oregon, and 1 brother, Jacob, of Leipsic, 16 grand children, 25 great grand children, also a host of friends and relatives.
Our dear father thou has left us, we hope your suffering body is at rest. Good bye dear old soldiers, they are going one by one, Going to meet old comrades, when their earthly work is done--farewell.
