WENATCHEE - Clarence A. Jungberg, 90, a 60-year resident of Chelan County, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 1995, at the Parkside Rehab & Care Center.
He was born Oct. 25, 1904, to Carl August and Mathilda L. (Wangen) Jungberg at Watertown, S.D. He moved with his family as a small child to Kenmare, N.D., where he attended school.
Mr. Jungberg farmed in North Dakota until moving to Cashmere in 1935. He was employed by Great Northern Railroad from 1942 until his retirement in 1958.
He married Dale Hart on April 9, 1949, at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Following their marriage, they made their home in Wenatchee.
Mr. Jungberg was a member of the Lutheran Church and Wenatchee Eagles Aerie No. 204.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Wallace, Wenatchee, and Mrs. O.T. (Donna) Parker, Cashmere; two stepsons, Max Hart, Wenatchee, and Dave Hart, Chelan; one stepdaughter, Helen Haight, Gig Harbor; one sister, Agnes Roberg, Wenatchee; 20 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1987, two brothers and three sisters.
