He attended Loco schools. Billy Don married Joan Booth on Feb. 2, 1973, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Billy loved his family and life to the fullest. He enjoyed kids, traveling, camping and fishing. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Joan of the home in Duncan, Okla.; his father, John O. Chaney of Duncan; two brothers, Oscar Chaney of Comanche, and John Chaney, Jr., of Duncan; two sisters, Betty J. Cox of Duncan, and Debby Mitchell of Comanche; numerous nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellie Jane Baker, and a brother, Harold Wayne Chaney.
Funeral services for Mr. Chaney will be at 10 a.m. Sat., Oct. 1, 2005, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Comanche, with Mirl Yates officiating. Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
