Pharaoh of Egypt. His name means "Horus Cobra" or "Horus Who Strikes", and he reigned for about 23 years during Ancient Egypt's 1st Dynasty. He is known largely from his tomb at Abydos, which contained a fine serekh, or false palace fašade, bearing his name, and was surrounded by 174 secondary burials of family members and servants.
