Rebecca "Becky" Cox, 46, of Bellmead, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009, at a local hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 10, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosemound cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 9, at the funeral home.

Rebecca Beatrice was born in Vancouver, Wash., to Willie Eugene and Lula Beatrice (Parrish) Ballard. She enjoyed spending every moment she could with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Isaac Cox; a brother-in-law, Don Allen Cox; her father; and her sister, Gail Louise Winkelmann.

Survivors include her husband, James Cox; children, Holly Cox, Kerri Collins, Jami White and Cody Cox; grandchildren, Samantha Cox, Jacob and Anthony Cox, Aaliyah White, Chelsea Cox, Kayli Collins, Matthew White, Ami Collins, Kirsten White and Jayden Collins; mother, Lula Beatrice Ballard; brothers and sisters, Pat McAdams, Benny Ballard, Russell Ballard, Linda McAdams, Jeff Ballard, Jimmy Ballard, Nancy Strickland, Timothy Ballard, Mark Ballard and Bruce Ballard; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and family.
