When I first saw Ginger, she was with her little brothers and sisters in a shoe box at the Chicopee Animal Clinic with their owner. They were there to have their tails cropped and dew claws removed. No bigger than a mouse. I gave my name and address to the owner to call me when the puppies were weaned.
I bought this puppy for $5.00. I picked this female puppy, who I named Ginger from the other puppies. She was the cutest little ball of fur.
A mixed poodle. She was a real good dog. Loved going to McDonald's for a hamburger. She would wag her tail and run around in circles when I mentioned going to McDonalds.
She got along good with other dogs and people.
She lived to be 12 years old. Suffered with Conjestive Heart Failure at the end.
The best dog that I ever owned. Wish she was still living.
But I had her cremated at Angel View Pet Cemetery & Crematory in Middleboro, MA.
Ginger's cremains were sent back to the veternarian's office where I picked her up.
I buried Ginger's cremains with my sister, Celia Ann Schott [1943-2005] Nov. 29, 2005 at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield, MA.
I decided to keep Ginger safe with my parents and sister. At the same time, she'll keep my family company.
Ginger will live in my heart forever.
I love you Ginger.
