Coach Conway was the football coach in Dove Creek, Colorado, in 1959 and was greatly loved and respected by "Bulldogs" in DCHS.
At the time of his death Cyril Conway was the Supt. of Schools in Mancos, Colorado. He and 3 other educators were flying back from a meeting with a Congressman in Denver, Colorado, about starting a Vocational Tech School where students could learn a working trade--this was new concept in in 1964 for education classes. The plane went down killing all four men on 10/30/64.
Married: Wadene Ila Folson and their children were: Sharon, Cathy, Greg, Ronald and Sandra. Then Wadene passed away with cancer.
Married: Roberta Rountain on 8 of Nov 1958, and their children were Shaun, Lisa and Loren.
At the time of his death he left behind 8 children ranging in age from 18 years old to 2 months.
Cyril Kohl Conway is the son of Cyril Stanislaus Conway and Mary Jane (Kohl) Conway.
