HURLINGER, Mo. — Eileen Roselea (Waller) Weipert, 87, Hurlinger, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at LaVerna Village, Savannah, Mo.
Eileen was born February 23, 1922, in St. Joseph, the daughter of Felix W. and Hattie C. (Miller) Waller.
She married Francis "Sam" Weipert on October 15, 1941, at the Hurlinger (Mo.) Church. He preceded her in death January 10, 1991.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Ronnie Weipert; and sister, Nylus Minor.
Mrs. Weipert was a carpenter and a farmer with her husband for 50 years. She would design homes and he would build them; together the built over 45 homes.
She was a member of the Seven Dolors Catholic Church. She loved to knit and crocheted afghans. Eileen would make one each year for the annual Hurlinger church picnic.
Survivors: four daughters: Cathy Zug and husband, Roger, Easton; Cheryl Reynolds and husband, Wayne, Kansas City, Mo; Joyce Walker and husband, Virgil, St. Joseph; and Karen Holmes and husband, Tom, Texas; brother, Marvin Waller and wife, Rosie, Easton; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Saturday, Seven Dolors Catholic Church, Hurlinger. Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Parish Rosary: 6:30 p.m. Friday.
