DAVIS, IMORHEA "MARIE" Flint Age 86, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Regency at Grand Blanc. A Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Stephen Chaney officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 PM on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee School District. Marie was born in Lutherville, AR on July 3, 1928, daughter of the late Noah and Mellie (Greener) Blackwood. She married Joe Davis and he preceded her in death. Marie was a long time member of Trinity Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts and reading. Marie is survived by her daughters, Linda Westover and Kelly Davis; grandchildren, Steven and Lenore Westover, Kimberly (Brian) Jenks; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Valerie, Jacob and Michael; siblings, Claude (Sue) Blackwood, Lindell (Candy) Blackwood, Donald (Judy) Blackwood. She was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth, Dean and Eugene; sisters, Lucille Blackwood, Louise Barnett and Edna Wise.
