We adopted Felix from the Humane Society. He was a fully grown cat and loved by his caretakers at the shelter. He was the oldest cat there and had lived in a tiny cage for a long time. They were sad to see him leave, but we reassured them he would join a loving family who would spoil him rotten for the rest of his life, and would have the company of other indoor cats.
He loved to have his coat brushed and to be carried around like a baby in our arms.He was an indoor cat but was taken out on a leash often. He enjoyed catnip (and green peas).
He was an extremely healthy cat until the last few weeks of his life. He had suffered renal failure and was euthanized.
He was buried under a beautiful red maple tree. He is surrounded by roses and the birds he loved to watch from the windows.
He left behind feline companions Sebastian, Booboo and Naynay. They searched for him for a long time after he died. He is missed and remembered.
To his sponsor, a grateful thankyou >^..^<
