Marjorie Ann Little of Denver passed away March 24, 2010 from complications of a combination of conditions. She was 84 years old. Born February 4, 1926 in Florence, CO to William L. and Gladys M. (Moore) Walk, she had lived in Denver since 1951. She grew up primarily in the Grand Junction area, where she graduated from high school and met her husband, Raymond J. Little. They were married August 2, 1946 in Montrose, CO. After their marriage, they lived in Grand Junction and Seattle, WA before coming to Denver.
In 1958 Marjorie began working at Gates Rubber Company as a key punch operator. She worked her way up to become the secretary of the information services department and retired after thirty years. Raymond retired shortly thereafter and they had many good years of retirement together before health issues slowed her down. She loved to sing and we loved to listen to her. All who knew her loved her sense of humor and many were targets of the pranks she so enjoyed. Taking care of her home and yard, reading, knitting and spending time with her children and grandchildren filled out her life.
Marjorie is survived by her much loved husband of sixty-three years, Raymond; son David and his wife Sandy; daughter Diane and her husband Dan; daughter Cathy and her husband Rob; six grandchildren: Leith, Danielle, Sacha, Daniel, Travis and Michael; two great granddaughters, Harley and Emily. She was preceded in death by her brother, Guy L. Walk.
At her request, there will be no service.
