Missionary. Christian Missionary to Ecuador, where he was killed by Huaorani Indians. Subject of the theatrical film, "End of the Spear" (2006). Mr. McCully attended Wheaton College where he was president of his senior class. He later enrolled at Marquette to pursue a law degree. He and four other missionaries, Jim Elliot, Roger Youderian, Peter Fleming and their pilot Nate Saint, were killed by Indians along the Curaray River in Ecuador on January 8, 1956. Their remains were interred beside the river.
