Mrs. Louella M. Billett, 116 E. Lamb St., Bellefonte, died at the Lewistown Hospital on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.

She was born in Wilkes-Barre on May 12, 1895, the daughter of Chester and Mary Bardo McCarty. In 1921 she married Nelson Billett, who survives.

She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church of Bellefonte and served as teacher and supervisor of the Sunday School. She was also a member of the Centre Crest Auxiliary, a director of the Centre County Sabbath Association and past grand of the Crystal Springs Rebecca Lodge of Bellefonte.

Funeral services will be held at the St. John's Lutheran Church, Bellefonte, on Friday at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Carl E. Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Wetzler Funeral Home of Bellefonte. Memorial gifts may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund.
