C. Robert Waltermyer, 53, died Friday, July 2, 2004 at his home after an illness.
Born September 11, 1950 in York, he was the son of the late Marie and James Waltermyer of Parkton, Md.
He was a dump truck driver for C.J. Miller, Inc. before his illness and had previously driven a concrete truck for Shrewsbury Concrete and worked at Black & Decker in Hampstead, Md.
He was a member of Hopewell Fish & Game Assoc., Mason-Dixon Historical Society and Maryland Steam Historical Society. He enjoyed restoring antique Farmall tractors, antique tractor pulling, hunting, vegetale farming, and his pets.
Surviving are wife, Doris Hull; son and daughter-in-law, James and Dawn Waltermyer of Westminster, Md.; as wel as sisters and brothers-in-law, Anna & Robert Troyer of Parkton, Md. and Elaine & Les Bosley of Freeland, Md. He is also survived by many dear neighboors and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Pritts Funeral Home, 4121 Washington Road, Westminster, Md. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, July 5th at the funeral home with the rwev. Robert Beall presiding. Interment will be in Kriders U.C.C. Cemetey, Westminster, Md.
