Martrese was a member of Victorious Believers Ministries. She received her Bachelors Degree at the University of Michigan and her Masters at Saginaw Valley.
She was secretary and dear friend to Mr. Willie T. Thompson at Delta College for 20 years. With the help of Mr. Ruben Daniels and Mr. Willie Thompson she began teaching at Webber Middle School and Jones School for 15 years.
Her memory will be cherished by one son, Daemmion Blagmon; one daughter, Nicholle Blagmon; her brother, Raymond Cromattie; one grandson, Daemmion Blagmon. Jr.; one granddaughter, Vanessa Blagmon; one aunt, Anita Cornell Scott; three cousins, Laneil Doster, Minnie Boyd and Joyce Collier; also a host of other cousins, relatives and friends, including special friend, Martha Ann Weatherspoon.
Mrs. Blagmon was predeceased by her mother, Ruth Laury; grandmother Minnie Middleton; grandfather, William Harris, Sr.; three uncles, William Harris, Jr., Arthur Lee and Otis Harris; and one aunt, Dorothy Wilbur Davis.
