Cambridge 1632, arrived at Boston in the 'Lion: Sept 16, 1632; was one of the earliest settlers of Hartford. Lt. Col. John Talcott states in his memorandum book that his father's home was the first built in Hartford and was done by Nichlas Clark, the first wintr an Englishman rought or built in Hartford which was the year 1735'. An original proprietor; his home lot was in 1739 bounded on the N.E. by the road to the Soldier's Field and on the S.W. by the road to the Neck. He served in the Pequot War."
