Born in Oiesdea,Romania, son of Maria Crisan who married Nick Voica on Oct 24, 1912, and died August 2, 1919, in Galtiu, Romania.
He was brought to US by Grandmother Florica Crisan shortly after mother's death and used the Crisan name as his surname.
Married Mary Bohach in the late 1930's. They had no children.
Became ill with a lung condition,silicosis (grinder's asthma) probably from his employment as a sand blaster inhaling tiny bits of silica. He and Mary lived a short time in Arizona by doctors suggestion for his lung condition. He died shortly upon their return to Farrell.
Called "Geno" by friends and family.
Emmigrated June 16, 1920, at the age of 4, Port of New York, on the Leopoldina with grandmother Florica Fletcher Crisan< /a>
