Birth date: January 30, 1819.

"Archibald A. Glenn was born in Kentucky and came with his parents to Cooperstown in 1831. He married Lavinia Cooper and taught school in Ripley. Subsequently a business man he served twelve years as Circuit Court Clerk in Brown County. He also served on the Illinois Senate in the 28th General Assembly, elected in 1872. When Gov. Oblesby was elected to the U.S. Senate, Lt. Gov. Beveridge became Governor and Glenn served as Lt. Governor from 1873-77. Members of the Christian Church, Glenn and his wife were the parents of two children, Ella (the wife of William Shields) and William C. Glenn. After public service he relocated to Wichita, Kansas." - Brown County Pictorial History
