She was married to Willis Ted Inman, son of Ballou and Victoria Deaver Inman, on January 1, 1937. They had four children.
Besides taking care of the children and house, Donnie worked at American Enka for a short time, and for several summers she worked part time at Slater Food Service at the Lake Logan Lodge. Slater hired her to work full-time at the Champion Cafeteria because of her outstanding work. She had always wanted to have her own business, so eventually Donnie and her husband built a restaurant called the Pigeon Valley Dairy Bar in Bethel. She operated it until her death in December of 1970.
Donnie Warren Inman was 54 years old when she died. Her twin sister, Bonnie Warren Vance, lived to be 100.
