The daughter of James & Sibil Prudden, she was baptized on Feb. 8, 1616/7 in Kings Walden, Hertfordshire, England. She married Samuel Coley on Feb. 14, 1639/40 in Milford, New Haven Colony. She was admitted to the Milford Church on Feb. 14, 1640/41. Her will was written Feb. 13, 1688/89 in Milford lising children: Peter, Samuel, Thomas Coley, Abilene Chaping, Sarah Baldwin, Mary Stream, and Hannah Garnsey. Son-in-law, Joseph Garnsey was appointed executor on Nov. 11, 1689.

To the right is a plaque on the Memorial Bridge over the Wepawaug River in Milford honoring Samuel & Ann Coley as early settlers of Milford.
